Thomson Cruises implements Resco PMS/POS on board TUI Discovery

Resco’s property management (Resco PMS) and Point of Sale (Resco POS) solutions provide seamless management of post cruise, guest embarkation, onboard sales, and excursions. CRM profiling and central customer access is another core component as is mobile functionality which adds anytime, anywhere ship-wide management of all essential processes.

Rescompany Systems Ltd (Resco), a global leader in cruise systems and software solutions (, announced that Thomson Cruises has implemented Resco PMS and Resco POS on board TUI Discovery, the latest ship in its fleet. Key Resco modules are mobile-enabled, extending flexible, remote management of the Discovery’s onboard operations, from the reservation, arrivals, check-in, and check-out, to control of gangway traffic, excursions sales, items located at bars, restaurants and shops and the management of guest and staff accounts.

TUI Discovery was officially launched on 9th June 2016 in Palma, Majorca and offers something for everyone. With a wide range of onboard facilities, the family-friendly ship boasts an outdoor movie screen, rock-climbing wall and eight bars and lounges. In addition to the extensive dining choices, TUI Discovery will be the first in the fleet to offer all-inclusive drinks packages as standard from summer 2017. Thomson Cruises has a long history of working with Resco, integrating its shipboard property management and POS systems on other ships in its fleet.
