Implementation and Support Specialist – Central Reservation System
Position
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with reservations experience and a keen interest in I.T, looking to develop their career within the cruise industry. The position is not a ‘pure’ I.T. position but an operational role. Training on the I.T. functions / systems will be provided.

Rescompany Systems Ltd. is a well-established, fast growing international company based in the UK, with offices in England, Australia, Canada, US, Germany and Poland. The company supplies Reservation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems for the cruise, hospitality and travel market.
Responsibilities include:
- Account Management
- Implementing our system at client sites
- Training and support of users and colleagues
- Providing remote support; supporting customers by phone, email, in person and via a ticketing system
- Project management, pre and post implementations
- Creating and developing procedures and documentation, including user and installation manuals, and reference materials as requested
- Software testing
- Knowledge sharing
Requirements
Ideally candidates will have the following attributes:
- Experience using reservation systems in the tourism/travel industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Technical inquisitiveness and a strong interest in I.T.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft suite products
- Basic understanding of databases
- Experience in implementation, product setup and testing
- Knowledge of the travel/ cruise industry
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels and across the world
- Ability to manage own workload
- Self- motivated
- Willingness to travel
- English language proficiency (essential)
