Costa Asia, part of Costa Group has signed an agreement with Rescompany Systems. Teams from both companies are currently working on implementing Resco’s cruise industry leading applications into the operation of Costa Cruises China.

Loyalty/Club handling, related web and mobile applications, marketing/mailing, lead generation, passenger history management, consolidation and data migration are some of the current projects. The Resco systems will provide the Costa team a greater overview and and transparency of CRM data. The call and reservation center will have a snapshot and 360 degree view of passenger data available at all times.

Costa Cruises holds a leadership position in China’s fast-growing cruise market. According to the current analysis by CLIA Costa Cruises occupies the leading position in the cruise market with four out of ten reservations made for Costa ships.

By April 2016 Costa Fortuna will be the 4th ship of Costa’s investment plan in China, further increasing the capacity by 38%. It highlights its strategy to strengthen its leadership and position in China, as well as its commitment and confidence to continuously develop China to be one of the leading cruise markets in the world.
